"The first peace, which is most important, is that which comes within the souls of men when they realize their relationship, their oneness with the universe and all its powers, and when they realize that at the center of the universe dwells the Great Spirit, and that this center is really everywhere, it is within each of us."
- Black Elk, Sioux Holy Man
As a self-described free thinker and proud, absolutely unapologetic peace activist ... May the circle of brotherhood and friendship travel around the Earth - now and forever.
The power of Mind brings new powers to the development of life in the material world. These new powers appear to be independent of Matter and Life in terms of their ideal formulation, but also can and do have an impact on the way Life and Matter respond and develop, once they are brought to bear on life.
Sri Aurobindo describes the powers of Mind in their pure sense, and then relates them to their implementation in the world. Inasmuch as Mind is an important player in terms of the evolutionary development of humanity, it is useful to understand this interplay to see both the opportunities and the weaknesses involved. “The mental life concentrates on the aesthetic, the ethical and the intellectual activities. Essential mentality is idealistic and a seeker after perfection….A dream of perfect beauty, perfect conduct, perfect Truth, whether seeking new forms of the Eternal or revitalising the…

The following letters between two legendary figures of world history – Leo Tolstoy and Mahatma Gandhi – represent one of the most important historical documents ever published. The thoughts shared between these towering spiritual personalities – over 100 years later in 2014 – still deeply resonate and offer profound, timely, essential wisdom to humanity.
Thanks to the editors at nonresistance.org for their efforts. This is Public Domain literature so feel free to place in your personal files and disseminate widely.
With the extraordinary nature of this material – in addition to the significance of it occurring shortly before the passing of Tolstoy, as well as Gandhi’s later major involvement in India’s independence – every human being who is not aware of these writings will miss out on an extremely consequential relationship between two of the world’s greatest spiritual leaders.
“The function of the press is to explore and investigate events, inform the people what is going on, and to expose the harmful as well as the good influences at work. There is no higher function performed under our constitutional regime… A reporter is no better than his source of information. Unless he has a privilege to withhold the identity of his source, he will be the victim of governmental intrigue or aggression. If he can be summoned to testify in secret before a grand jury, his sources will dry up and the attempted exposure, the effort to enlighten the public will be ended…”
“They think to order all things wisely; but having rejected Christ they will end by drenching the world with blood.”
– FYODOR DOSTOYEVSKI (1821-1881) Russian novelist The Brothers Karamozov (1880)
Men and women in rapidly increasing numbers around the Earth are now taking action to end the violence in Gaza. Why are millions of men and women concerned about the tragic situation there? Because there is something inside of every human being that brings about feelings of compassion upon witnessing harm and pain experienced by fellow human beings. That “something” is intangible; that which cannot be touched. That something is incorporeal; not consisting of matter; without material body or substance; of spirits or angels.
A group of people met at the home of the Sacred White Buffalo Calf Pipe Bundle to discuss the state of the natural world. This is their COUNCIL STATEMENT:
This statement reflects the wisdom of the Spiritual People of the Earth, of North and South America, working in unity to restore peace, harmony and balance for our collective future and for all living beings. This statement is written in black and white with a foreign language that is not our own and does not convey the full depth of our concerns.
“A man is truly ethical only when he obeys the compulsion to help all life which he is able to assist, and shrinks from injuring anything that lives.”
– ALBERT SCHWEITZER (1829-1965) Alsatian-born physician, philosopher
While searching for more information about Dr. Olga Bogomolets, the presidential candidate/physician from Ukraine who treated victims of sniper bullets during the “Maidan Massacre” in Kiev on and around February 20, 2014, the path led back to the YouTube channel Verfassing1871 where a previously posted video of Dr. Bogomolets with her speaking in English is found. She studied medicine in America and speaks excellent English. The channel is run by men and/or women from Germany, so only a handful of their uploads are in English, so listened once more to what she said in the extremely difficult medical scenario, along with a review of any comments on her short interview.
Looking to find out if a particular world politician or transnational corporation, a particular business tycoon or Hollywood icon, or your local drug smuggler is using a tax haven? Perhaps you just have a hunch about a person, or persons, or company – that they are probably using a secretive tax scheme to hide money from their government to avoid paying their share of taxes.
Now you have an internet website with a tax haven database to search/check for yourself.
“Those who steal from private individuals spend their lives in stocks and chains; those who steal from the public treasure go dressed in gold and purple.”
– Marcus Porcius Cato (234 – 149 B.C.)
Let me first thank the man in the following video, Mr. Scott Baker, for delivering one of the most, if not the most, articulate presentations on Public Banking that this writer has ever seen. Any man or woman who views this video, and especially those who are trained/experts in Public Accounting/Finance, will come out on the other end of this slightly less than 50-minute presentation and immediately begin planning, which leads to establishing, Public Banks in every state of America.
“There are only two kinds of men: those righteous who believe themselves sinners; the others sinners who believe themselves righteous.”
– Blaise Pascal (1623-1662)
This video may give those who are attending the Geneva II Conference in Switzerland a greater focus on what is at stake in their discussions. It is some thoughts from refugees of Syria who have become displaced from the tragic situation brought about by some of the “grownup world leaders” on this planet.
