Chicago’s police torture can’t be atoned for so easily – lawyer

Chicago is proposing a $5.5 million reparations program for the people subject to harsh torture by the city’s police from the 1970s until the early 1990s. Flint Taylor, a lawyer for many victims demanding reparations, says that while the move by Mayor Rahm Emmanuel and the city is a good start, injustices remain. He speaks with Manila Chan about the planned reparations and what his clients truly need.
