It has been said; the South will rise again, as I look at America it is rising with the help of the Tea Party and the conservatives. Therefore, racism is alive and well. Back in the day, nothing was more important to folks of this ilk than restricting or denying education to the suppressed. As a result of Jim Crow Laws, these people called it “separate but equal” better known as segregation. If you look at the numbers, we are virtually in the same place in terms of the current educational system in many places across the country.

It has been sixty years since the landmark Brown v Board Supreme Court decision successfully argued by the late great Justice Thurgood Marshall. In addition to Marshall brilliantly winning this case, he won every case he argued, more than fifty other cases, before the Supreme Court.
